Native to eastern Canada and the United States, this easy-to-grow perennial species features hairy stems and leaves opposite and stalkless. Purple-blue and white trumpet flowers open over an extended period in early and mid-summer, making it versatile for full sun to full shade and medium wet to dry soils.
