Description

This semi-evergreen perennial, originating from Mexico, opens its purple bell-shaped flowers, marked beautifully in the throat, over an extended period in early and midsummer. It prefers sandy, well-drained soil in full sun or part shade and is completely hardy as long as it is not planted in boggy soil.
