Forming diminutive clusters, this charming alpine plant, discovered in the wild within the eastern Alps, boasts dense clusters of appealing mauvey-purple tubular flowers. Each cluster, resembling a collection of smaller blooms, creates a scabious-like arrangement, despite being unrelated to the scabious plant.
