Description

Characterized by a pale green to yellow hue when ripe, this remarkable fruit surpasses the size of a grapefruit, featuring sweet flesh and a thick spongy rind. As the largest citrus globally, the pummelo attains a diameter of up to 12". Resembling a large grapefruit, it originates from South and Southeast Asia, representing a natural citrus fruit and one of the original citrus species from which cultivated citrus varieties evolved through hybridization.
