Great Indian Plantain, a Minnesota native, faces threats due to habitat loss. Prefers partial sun to medium shade in moist to mesic conditions. Reaches 8 feet with purplish-green stems and 7-inch wide leaves. Attracts various bees and flies to its flowerheads.
