Description

Gray Bog Sedge, also known as Silvery Sedge, is a perennial wetland plant found in stream banks and lakeshores. With a high tolerance for acidic soils, it can grow in shallow standing water, forming dense clumps and colonies. The stems are slender and rough, while the leaves are smooth and flat with a pale-green to gray-green color.
