Description

This encrusted saxifrage forms a dense mat of small compact rosettes with silver-edged, dark-green leaves. Arching, dividing stems bear sprays of pure white flowers in summer. Native to the mountains of central and southern Europe, it thrives on limestone screes and rocks, performing best in tufa or partially shaded open gardens.
