Description

Flourishing in the Eastern Alps, including the Dolomites, and northern Yugoslavia on limestone rocks, these superb alpines exhibit dense mats of medium-sized, uniquely narrow, lime-encrusted silvery rosettes. Red-stemmed inflorescences rise 12-24cm, carrying branched panicles of small starry flowers with lengthy yellowish-white petals.
