Description

With strap-shaped leaves and purplish stems, this plant native to southwestern Russia, the Caucasus, and Turkey produces short racemes bearing nodding, bowl-shaped, bright blue flowers. Despite its name, it is not native to Siberia, showcasing hardiness and a tendency to spread through bulbs and self-seeding.
