Small Yellow Wild Indigo, a shrub-like perennial, blooms when most Baptisias have finished flowering. Producing one seed per pod, it is also known as Yellow False Indigo and serves as a host plant for the Wild Indigo Duskywing skipper and Clouded Sulphur butterfly.
