Description

Crowfoot Fox Sedge, also known as Crowfoot Sedge, Raven’s-foot Sedge, or Ravenfoot Sedge, features blue-green or gray-green foliage with drooping leaves. Blooming in summer with 3-foot-high flowering stalks, it stands out with a bristly inflorescence and soft, spongy perigynia covering seeds. Preferring moist soils, it adapts to any light condition, forming colonies with rhizomatous roots.
