Description

The Tamarillo, known as the "Tree Tomato," produces egg-sized fruit suitable for jams, making it either a fruiting shrub or a superb foliage plant. Easily grown from seed, its roots are tough, surviving moderate frosts, and it thrives in relatively mild areas, usually regrowing from the base.
