Description

Greenish-yellow flowers in a dense spike adorn a straight and stiff stem from June to August in high mountains from Gotland to the Pyrenees and Ukraine, residing in swamps and wet grasslands. Formerly associated with the gentian and lily family, these unique plants now belong to the Tofieldiaceae family.
