Description

An unusual relative of clover, this plant forms solid clumps with golden ball flowers, starting lemon-yellow and turning shiny brown, thriving in poor soil, and producing nitrogen-fixing nodules on its roots. It's found in riverbank grasslands and mountainous regions of Europe and SW Asia.
