Spider Milkweed, with milky sap, attracts Monarch butterflies and various insects. Tolerant of dry conditions, found in sand prairies, pastures, and ditches. Showy rose-white flowers in umbellated clusters, avoided by mammalian herbivores. Also known as Green Antelophorn.
