Description

A perennial blooming for about three weeks between July and August, with bright yellow blooms attracting pollinators. Bumblebees are primary pollinators, and it's found in moist wooded slopes, streambanks, and thickets. Toxic to mammalian herbivores, the foliage can cause skin irritation.
