Description

Porcupine Sedge, a fine-leaved sedge for wet soils and full sun, tolerates temporary flooding. It can be found in wet prairies, swamps, fens, sedge meadows, and marshes. Often compared to Carex lurida and Carex comosa, it actively grows in spring and fall, also known as Bottlebrush Sedge.
