Lifeasible, a leader in the botanical industry, offers a wide range of product development as well as services to its customers. Liposomes can play an essential role in the field of botany. Based on the current expertise of Lifeasible's laboratory and research staff, combined with our liposome expertise, we have extensive experience in the characterization, analysis, modification, optimization, and development of liposomes to help our customers rapidly develop liposomes.
Liposomes are generally carrier formulations consisting of cholesterol and phospholipids in a spherical microencapsulated structure. When amphiphilic molecules are dispersed in the aqueous phase, they form closed vesicles that contain an aqueous phase and a bilayer film inside that can encapsulate various molecules. Targeted LPs can selectively localize the concentration of encapsulated small molecules in target tissues, target organs, or target cells; compared with ordinary LPs; these LPs have the advantages of low toxicity and high targeting. According to the different mechanisms of action, targeted LPs can be divided into active-targeted LPs, passive-targeted LPs, and physicochemically-targeted LPs. Physico-chemical targeting LPs is to add some special lipids or magnetic materials to LPs to make LPs respond to light, heat, pH, magnetic field, and other stimuli. Passive-targeting LPs are those that form a natural tendency to enrich and thus have specific targeting. Active targeting LPs refers to the attachment of some sugar residues, antibodies, hormones, and receptor ligands that can bind to target proteins on the surface of LPs so that LPs reach a specific location and release small molecules.
Lifeasible offers a wide range of liposomal materials and a wide variety of customized services for targeted liposomes. We specialize in the development of targeted liposomes, including physicochemically targeted liposomes, actively targeted liposomes, and passively targeted liposomes, which will effectively enhance the use of liposomes in a variety of industries.
Customized services for magnetically targeted LPs allow for targeting through the guidance of magnetic materials. Commonly used magnetic carrier materials include ferric oxide (Fe2O3), ferric tetroxide (Fe3O4), etc.
We usually choose PEG as the hydrophilic inert material for long-cycle liposomes.
In addition to the above customization services, we also provide a full range of integrated services for morphology, particle size, potential, encapsulation rate, stability, and in vitro release of targeted liposomes to help you with every procedure in the development of liposomes.
