Targeted Metabolomics of Plant Hormone

Plant hormones are active organic substances synthesized in plants, which can be transported from the site of production to the site of action. They can produce a certain physiological effect on plants in trace concentrations and play an essential role in regulating gene expression, growth, development, and response to the environment in plants. Plant hormones mainly include growth hormones (AUXs), gibberellins (GAs), cytokinins (CTKs), abscisic acid (ABA), and ethylene (Eth). In addition, it has been found that jasmonic acid, salicylic acid, polyamines, and oleoresinolide are involved in a variety of physiological processes in plant growth, including defense responses, and play an active role in pathogen resistance. Thus they can be regarded as a new class of plant hormones.

Lifeasible provides phytohormone-targeted assays for the absolute quantification of phytohormones to provide theoretical and technical support for plant development, molecular genetics, and cell biology research. We collect metabolomic data of biological samples through MRM mode to achieve absolute characterization of metabolites. We combine the external standard quantification method with the standard standard curve to realize the absolute quantification of metabolites in the samples.
