Transcriptomic Analysis of Different Growth Stages of Fungal

Transcriptomic Analysis of Different Growth Stages of Fungal

With the decreasing cost of sequencing, transcriptome sequencing analysis has become an indispensable technology for fungal biology. The transcriptome analysis of fungi is based on the sum of all RNAs, mainly mRNA and ncRNA, that can be transcribed by the fungus at a particular developmental stage under a specific habitat. The fungal growth and development process can be divided into two phases: nutrition and reproduction, forming various forms of nutrients and propagule. The typical nutrient body is the filamentous body, which also becomes mycelium. After the nutritional stage, fungi enter the reproduction stage. There are two reproduction methods, asexual reproduction and sexual reproduction, producing different types of spores and going through different reproduction stages.

Therefore, transcriptomic analysis of different growth stages of fungi is essential for understanding the process of fungal growth and development and exploring gene functions. Lifeasible can provide transcriptome analysis services for different growth stages of fungal nutrients and propagules, searching for differentially expressed genes during fungal growth and providing co-support for functional analysis of fungal genes.

  • Transcriptome sequencing of different growth stages of fungi.
We can extract fungal RNA from different growth and developmental stages and obtain the gene expression levels of fungi at different developmental stages using transcriptome sequencing and whole transcriptome sequencing techniques. Whole transcriptome sequencing can obtain information on all transcriptional products, including mRNA and non-coding RNA, at that stage of development. Transcriptome sequencing is able to obtain information on all mRNAs at that stage of development.
  • Analysis of gene expression at different growth stages.
We can quantify the gene expression levels of the fungus at different developmental stages. We use the reads per kb million reads method to calculate the expression of all genes and then help our clients to screen out the genes that are highly or lowly expressed at different times.
  • Analysis of differentially expressed genes at different growth periods.
We can analyze differentially expressed genes at different developmental stages, set thresholds for significant differential expression, and perform a preliminary analysis of the function of up or down-regulated genes.
  • KEGG analysis of metabolic pathways during different growth periods.
Metabolic processes, cellular and cellular components, and redox enzyme activities are key gene phylum in fungal development. We can perform KEGG enrichment analysis of differential genes in different developmental stages of fungi to search for metabolic pathways that play critical essential roles in fungal growth and development.

Lifeasible can perform transcriptome analysis of fungi at different growth stages to help customers screen for differentially expressed genes in different growth stages of fungi.
