Flavonoids refer to a class of compounds with chromone ring and benzene ring as the basic structure of the general term, is a plant in the long-term process of natural selection of some secondary metabolites, widely present in the roots, stems, leaves, flowers, and fruits of higher plants. Flavonoids are the most critical phytochromes for flower coloring, producing petal pigments to attract pollinators and acting as chemical messengers, physiological regulators, and cell cycle inhibitors.

Lifeasible has extensive experience serving the plant research community. We use an LC-MS/MS-based platform and MRM gold standard for quantification, as well as internal and external isotopic standards for absolute quantification of a wide range of flavonoids in our clients' samples.
