Vitamins, as an essential trace organic substance, play an indispensable role in plant growth, metabolism, and development. Accurate quantification of vitamins is important in studies, including research on plant growth conditions, crop yield, and quality of agricultural products. Accurate quantification of vitamins plays a vital role in agricultural research. We extract and accurately quantify vitamins in target plants for assessing plant nutrition, optimizing plant growth conditions, improving crop quality, and more.
We use UV/Vis detectors to monitor the absorption peaks of vitamins at standard wavelengths such as 254 nm or 280 nm.
We then quantify the vitamins by establishing a standard curve and comparing the peak area of the sample to the standard curve to determine the vitamin content.
