Wheat germ extract cell-free expression is a cell-free protein expression technology that utilizes all the components required for protein synthesis (e.g., tRNA, amino acids, enzymes, cofactors, ionic environments, etc.) in wheat germ extract for in vitro protein expression. Lifeasible relies on a state-of-the-art technology platform and an experienced team of technical experts to further optimize cell-free protein expression systems, particularly wheat germ cell-free expression systems, to produce proteins at high yields, reduce costs and scale up, including streamlining the process of extract preparation, developing novel energy regeneration systems for protein synthesis, stabilizing the substrate supply, and facilitating protein folding.
We use the TNT-coupled wheat germ extraction system to improve the translation yield and throughput by integrating transcription reactions directly into the translation reaction mixture through a single test tube reaction mode.
We offer three amino acid mixtures lacking specific amino acids (methionine, cysteine, or leucine) as master mixes for reaction components to meet different protein expression needs.
Our systems contain tRNAs, ribosomes, initiation, elongation, and termination factors and are equipped with T7, T3, or SP6 RNA polymerases to support in vitro mRNA synthesis.
Customers can provide plasmid DNA or PCR products, and we will synthesize mRNA in vitro using RNA polymerase, followed by incubation and detection.
We utilize transcription factors and various enzymes required for protein synthesis in wheat germ extract, as well as supplemental amino acids, energy substances, and tRNA, to translate mRNA into proteins and provide services to purify the target proteins.
The mRNA released after translation can be recycled to synthesize proteins using a cell-free system, which can be repeated several times until the mRNA is inactivated.
